Early musical interests:
When I was growing up I used to listen to alot of hip-hop, and still do to this day. Early listening included tracks from artists such as N.WA, Tribe Called Quest, Ice Cube, Ice T and Snoop Dogg.
When I met my sisters husband he had a large collection of Dreamscape packs, Sutra and some tapes of raves from Chipping Sodbury common and UWE. I continually listened to these for years until I bought my decks. I then listened to tracks from artists such as: Clarkee, Loftgroover, Sy, Slipmatt, Hype, Grooverider, Kenny Ken and Bungee.
First decks:
The first decks I ever got to play on were a pair of 1210's belonging to DJ Pulse who is also a really good friend of mine.
First record ever bought:
The first record that I ever bought was from bang bang records in Bristol, this was my first experience of visiting a record shop.
Best record ever bought:
It has to be a white label remix of papa new guinea - future sound of london, it was bought online from IMO records and its the best and most played in my collection.
Favourite party venue:
Thats a really hard question, there has been quite a few. There was slinky at the westpoint arena in Exeter, A mad birthday trip for Ted and his mates to the carling academy in Bristol for blowpop, Leeds lore parade was a wicked experience and Ibiza was also amazing. The best to date has to be Global Gathering 08(Long Marston airfeild) - big ups to all who went VIP stylee.
First live DJ set:
The first time I played infront of anybody was at the Abbotswood Inn and it was for Paul and Louise' birstday, the second occasion was at T and Pulse's party at Sturt Farm(Ingelston common).
Favourite record label:
There is quite a few to have a favourite, Hospital records (drum n bass)
Most like to visit:
There is quite a few places really, the first place is Egypt as I have to see the great pyramids. I would also like to visit Australia and New Zeland while I am round that way ;)
Dream location to perform:
A tricky question, I would love to play at Aires rock, Australia, with the sun going down. I would also like to play the main stage at Glastonbury festival.
Dream warmup slot:
It would have to be DJ Hype or Andy C with MC Det and Skibba rocking the mic.
Favourite Clothing label:
It has to be drunk punk, drunken monkey and lacoste.
